Arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who made me feel instantly welcome. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, perfect after a long day.

The bathroom left much to be desired—old fixtures and a lingering musty smell. I was also disturbed by noise from the neighboring rooms at night.

Had a great time with friends. We visited a local park and enjoyed shopping at nearby stores. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was decent. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable. A good choice for a basic getaway.

One downside was the restaurant being crowded due to a function, which made dining a bit uncomfortable as it felt like eating in a corridor.

Our stay in the Standard Double Room was quite pleasant for my family. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, and the kids enjoyed the spacious areas. Minor noise disturbances from other guests disrupted our night, but overall, we had a lovely visit.

The room was pretty comfy and clean, but the dining was a disaster. The food seemed cheap and microwaved. I've worked in hospitality, and the service could really use some TLC. I saw the staff more interested in flirting than taking care of guests. Loud and smelly corridor didn't help either.

i've had good experiences in woodford before, but this stay was a pleasant surprise. the room was much cleaner and more comfortable than i expected, and the breakfast was better than many hotels i’ve stayed in. overall, it was a great place to recharge during my visit.

The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. stained walls, holes, and dirty curtains made the atmosphere uninviting. The cleanliness was subpar, with hair left in the bath and a moldy shower screen. While the staff were friendly, the bar service was affected by personal complaints audible to guests, which detracted from the experience. On a brighter note, the location was convenient, and the hotel had a lovely reception area.

the location near epping forest is lovely, perfect for a walk. the staff were really helpful when I had issues with my room. I appreciated getting moved quickly. the small tables and chairs near the lobby made for a nice space to relax and enjoy a drink.
